Mat 2:1-6 :  1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judæa in the days of Herod the king, behold, Wise-men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying,  2 Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we saw his star in the east, and are come to worship him.  3 And when Herod the king heard it, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.  4 And gathering together all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ should be born.  5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judæa: for thus it is written through the prophet,  6 And thou Bethlehem, land of Judah, Art in no wise least among the princes of Judah: For out of thee shall come forth a governor, Who shall be shepherd of my people Israel.

Isa 9:6-7 :  6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.  7 Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.
Mat 28:18 :  And Jesus came to them and spake unto them, saying, All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth.

Isa 9:1-2 :  1 But there shall be no gloom to her that was in anguish. In the former time he brought into contempt the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali; but in the latter time hath he made it glorious, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations.  2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
Mat 4:12-13 :  12 Now when he heard that John was delivered up, he withdrew into Galilee;  13 and leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the borders of Zebulun and Naphtali:

Mat 11:3-5 :  3 and said unto him, Art thou he that cometh, or look we for another?  4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and tell John the things which ye hear and see:  5 the blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have good tidings preached to them.

Luk 4:17-21 :  17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. Then they came and laid hands on Jesus, and took him.

Isa 53:3-6 :  3 He was despised, and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and as one from whom men hide their face he was despised; and we esteemed him not.  4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and Jehovah hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Mat 27:25-30 :  25 And all the people answered and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.  26 Then released he unto them Barabbas; but Jesus he scourged and delivered to be crucified.  27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the Prætorium, and gathered unto him the whole band.  28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.  29 And they platted a crown of thorns and put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand; and they kneeled down before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!  30 And they spat upon him, and took the reed and smote him on the head.

Mat 27:12 :  And when he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.
