Foundational Premise
Foundational Premise, the Real and True thing that Bible Nav is built on.

You might think the most important piece of knowledge that anyone could ever have is knowing that God is real and true.  You might be surprised, then, that, just as important as knowing that God is real and true, is knowing that —

God's Word is Real and True

If you are not convinced, I would then ask you —

My answer, of course, would be that you can't.  You have to know and believe the Bible to know and believe God and his Son.

The Bible being real and true is the foundational premise of Bible Nav.

The Bible claims that all scripture was inspired by God —

2Ti 3:16 :  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Pe 1:21 :  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

The Bible claims that the New Testament writings, specifically Paul's letters, are scripture —

2Pe 3:15-16 :  15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;  16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

The Bible claims that the New Testament writings, specifically the Gospel accounts, are not fables —

2Pe 1:16 :  For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

The Bible claims to be true —

Psa 119:160 :  Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
Joh 17:17 :  Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

The Bible claims to be pure —

Psa 12:6 :  The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

The Bible claims to be eternal —

Psa 119:89 :  For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
